Using the genuine Christie cable ensures the conductor gauge and connector terminations are matched to the PSU shelf's output specification, which matters for voltage stability over the run. The cable arrives ready to connect, avoiding field termination on standard-length runs. For shorter distances, Christie offers an approximately 20-foot version (154-126100-01), and runs can be field-built using the Christie connector kit and crimping tool where custom lengths are required.
