The C2G C2G31012 HDBaseT dual-gang wall plate transmitter to box receiver kit extends 4K 60Hz HDMI, VGA, 3.5mm audio, USB 2.0 data, and RS232 control from a dual-gang wall plate over a single Cat5e, Cat6, or Cat6a cable to a box receiver at the display. Designed for conference rooms, classrooms, and lecture halls that must accommodate both HDMI and VGA laptop sources at the presenter connection point, this kit extends all signals simultaneously with a built-in VGA-to-HDMI converter and scaler. USB-B to USB-A extension supports interactive whiteboards and touch displays.
Product Description
The dual-gang wall plate accepts HDMI (up to 4K 60Hz at 4:4:4) and VGA with 3.5mm audio inputs, plus a USB-B connection from the host computer. The HDMI signal extends up to 130ft at 4K over Cat6a, or up to 230ft at 1080p over Cat5e/6. VGA extends up to 230ft at 1080p. The built-in scaler normalizes VGA resolution to 1080p before transmission. RS232 pass-through supports display control from room automation systems.
The box receiver outputs HDMI to the display and USB-A for the whiteboard or touch display. HDCP 2.2 ensures protected 4K content compatibility. The dual-gang form factor provides a clean, permanent presenter connection point in conference rooms and classrooms where legacy VGA sources must be accommodated alongside modern HDMI laptops.
