Product Overview
The Blackmagic Design Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 12G is a tiny broadcast converter that connects consumer HDMI and professional SDI equipment in both directions at once. It handles SD, HD, and Ultra HD up to 2160p60 over 12G-SDI, with Blackmagic Camera Control and tally support, and this version includes the USB-C power supply.
Product Description
This bidirectional Micro Converter simultaneously converts SDI to HDMI and HDMI to SDI, with one 12G-SDI BNC and one HDMI 2.0 connector on each side. It supports formats up to DCI and UHD 4K60, automatically detects the input signal, and provides SDI re-clocking, HDMI timecode, and HDCP 2.2 copy-protection support. Camera control and tally make it useful in live production with Blackmagic switchers, and LED indicators show video and power status. The rugged, miniaturized housing is small enough to use anywhere, powered over USB-C — and this model ships with the power supply included (it can also draw power from a TV or laptop USB port).
