The Biamp Desono D10SUB is a 10-inch ceiling-mount subwoofer sold as a pair that provides powerful, high-impact bass response to augment any combination of C or D Series full-range models. It is a strong fit as an in-ceiling subwoofer, a distributed bass extension speaker, and a 70V/100V ceiling subwoofer. A built-in autoformer allows 8-ohm or 70V/100V operation.
Product Description
By including D10SUB units in a distributed system, designers can achieve musical results that equal or exceed much larger and more costly surface-mount systems. Its clean, clear bass provides an appealing experience for retail, bar, pub, and restaurant environments. The D10SUB uses an internal passive low-pass crossover and a 10-inch low frequency driver. Spring-loaded Drop-Stop installation tabs support the back can on the included rails and C-ring, and Twist-Assist face retainer tabs speed installation. External loop-through Euroblock connectors ease distributed wiring, and the rear cover includes an integrated cable clamp. A built-in autoformer supports 8-ohm or 70V/100V operation. The D10SUB is ETL listed to comply with UL1480, UL2043, and CSA60065 and is suitable for use in air handling spaces. Biamp recommends the Community ALC404D amplified loudspeaker controller.
