Product Overview
The Biamp Community R.15COAX is a two-way, full-range coaxial loudspeaker system in black, engineered for high-quality voice and music reproduction in applications demanding extreme weather resistance. It is built to withstand long-term exposure to tough environmental conditions while delivering performance normally associated only with indoor loudspeakers. It pairs a 1.25-inch exit HF compression driver coaxially with a 6.5-inch carbon ring cone LF driver for wide 100° coverage.
Product Description
The R.15COAX uses a coaxially mounted HF assembly for wide 100° x 100° coverage with low distortion, and its flange-less woofer basket design yields a cone area nearly equivalent to a typical 8-inch driver. A Music/Voice switch provides selectable out-of-the-box response for additional application flexibility, and Community’s proprietary Tru-Phase high-frequency phase plug delivers wide dispersion, low distortion and increased intelligibility. The sealed enclosure maximizes vocal clarity and provides weather protection for all interior components. A 120W autoformer enables selectable 8-ohm or 70V/100V operation. The matte-finish, paintable high-impact ABS enclosure uses a hydrophobically-treated grille and NeverWet-treated components for outdoor durability.
