Product Overview

The AVer TR335 is a professional 30X 4K PTZ streaming camera with AI auto tracking, designed for AV integrators, IT managers, and facilities teams deploying in lecture halls, houses of worship, conference rooms, and broadcast environments. Combining a 1/2.8" CMOS 8MP sensor with 4K resolution at 60 fps, NDI|HX3 streaming, and three AI-driven tracking modes, the TR335 delivers operator-free video production with broadcast-quality output. Its comprehensive I/O — including 3G-SDI, HDMI, USB, and IP — makes it a flexible choice for integration into existing AV systems and multi-camera live production rigs. The camera is Microsoft Teams and Zoom certified, TAA and NDAA compliant, and backed by a 5-year AVerCare warranty.

Product Description

The AVer TR335 30X 4K PTZ auto tracking camera is built for production-quality video capture without requiring a dedicated camera operator. Its 30X optical zoom paired with a 62.3° wide-angle horizontal field of view gives the camera the range to cover large rooms from ceiling or wall-mounted positions, while the 8MP 1/2.8" CMOS sensor outputs sharp 4K imagery at frame rates up to 60 fps across all connected outputs simultaneously.

Three AI tracking modes — Presenter, Zone, and Hybrid — cover the most common commercial AV use cases. Presenter tracking follows a speaker in full or half-body framing; Zone tracking locks onto preset areas for content-focused capture on displays or whiteboards; and Hybrid mode allows the camera to automatically switch between the two based on scene content. Voice tracking is also available via PTZ Link software or the AVer MT300N tracking box when paired with compatible microphones. The camera also supports Gesture Control for touchless tracking commands.

For AV system integration, the TR335 supports RS-232, RS-422, VISCA, PELCO-D, and CGI over IP control protocols. It is compatible with Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Barco, and other control platforms, and meets Microsoft Teams and Zoom certification requirements for video conferencing deployments. The NDI|HX3 output enables 4K60 IP video distribution with latency under 100ms, making it practical for multi-room or campus-wide streaming architectures without dedicated SDI cabling. The TR335 ships with ceiling mount brackets, RS-232 cabling, and a remote control.

Key Features

  • 30X Optical Zoom, 4K Resolution at 60 fps — 1/2.8" CMOS 8MP sensor delivers 4K output via HDMI, USB, IP, and 3G-SDI (3G-SDI limited to 1080p60).
  • NDI|HX3 Streaming — Latest-generation NDI|HX3 provides 4K60 IP streaming with under 100ms latency for high-quality network video distribution without additional encoders.
  • Three AI Auto Tracking Modes — Presenter, Zone, and Hybrid tracking modes with Gesture Control support enable reliable hands-free operation in lectures, sermons, training sessions, and broadcasts.
  • Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) — Algorithmic WDR processing balances exposure in high-contrast lighting conditions — common in houses of worship, auditoriums, and rooms with mixed natural and artificial light.
  • Simultaneous Multi-Output — Concurrent output over HDMI, USB, IP, and 3G-SDI allows the camera to feed a switcher, recording device, streaming encoder, and display simultaneously.
  • PoE+ Support — IEEE 802.3at PoE+ allows power and data delivery over a single CAT cable, reducing cabling runs in ceiling-mount and integrated rack installations.
  • AV Control Protocol Compatibility — RS-232, RS-422, VISCA, PELCO-D, and CGI over IP enable integration with Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Barco, and most commercial AV control systems.
  • Voice Tracking Support — Compatible with select microphones and AVer PTZ Link software or MT300N for microphone-triggered camera preset automation without programmer intervention.
  • Tally Light — Front-facing tally indicator signals active camera status for multi-camera switching environments.
  • TAA and NDAA Compliant — Approved for U.S. government and federally funded procurement under Trade Agreements Act and NDAA Section 889.
  • Microsoft Teams and Zoom Certified — Validated for use in Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms video conferencing deployments.
  • 5-Year AVerCare Warranty — Advanced Replacement with 24-hour turnaround in year one; accessories covered for 1 year.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What NDI version does the AVer TR335 support?

A: The TR335 supports NDI|HX3, the latest generation of the NDI HX protocol. NDI|HX3 delivers 4K at 60 fps with latency under 100ms over a standard IP network, making it suitable for campus distribution, multi-room facilities, and live production environments that use NDI-compatible switchers and software.

Q: Can the TR335 output to a video switcher and a streaming encoder at the same time?

A: Yes. The TR335 supports simultaneous output over HDMI, USB, IP (RTSP/RTMP/NDI), and 3G-SDI. This allows it to feed a hardware switcher via SDI or HDMI, a streaming encoder via IP or USB, and a local display — all concurrently. Note that 3G-SDI is capped at 1080p60 while HDMI, USB, and IP support full 4K60.

Q: Does the TR335 work with Crestron or Extron control systems?

A: Yes. The TR335 supports RS-232, RS-422, VISCA, PELCO-D, and CGI over IP control protocols. These are natively supported by Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Barco, and most commercial AV control systems. Contact your Creation Networks account representative for integration guidance or driver files.

Q: Is the TR335 compatible with Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms?

A: Yes. The AVer TR335 carries both Microsoft Teams certification and Zoom certification. It connects via USB 3.0 to a Teams or Zoom Rooms compute device and is recognized as a certified USB camera peripheral in those environments.

Q: What is the difference between Presenter, Zone, and Hybrid tracking on the TR335?

A: Presenter tracking uses AI to follow a detected speaker in full or half-body framing, moving the camera to keep the subject centered. Zone tracking locks the camera to one or more preset areas — ideal for capturing content on screens or whiteboards. Hybrid mode allows the camera to automatically switch between Presenter and Zone modes based on what is detected in the scene, providing flexibility for multi-format presentations.

Q: What warranty does the TR335 include, and is extended warranty available?

A: The TR335 includes AVer's 5-year AVerCare warranty with Advanced Replacement and 24-hour turnaround in the first year. Accessories are covered for 1 year. For extended warranty options or volume pricing, contact Creation Networks directly.
