Product Description

The Atomos CONNECT adds 3G-SDI connectivity to the Ninja V and Ninja V+ via a direct physical attachment to the recorder's side port. In SDI input mode, the CONNECT accepts a 3G-SDI signal and converts it to HDMI for pass-through into the Ninja V/V+ input, enabling recording and monitoring from SDI camera sources without a separate conversion box. In HDMI-to-SDI mode, the CONNECT takes the Ninja V/V+ HDMI output and converts it to 3G-SDI for distribution to SDI-based monitors, switchers, or broadcast infrastructure.

The unit passes embedded audio in both conversion directions, preserving audio routing across HDMI and SDI signal chains without requiring additional audio breakout or conversion. A standard 1/4"-20 thread on the CONNECT allows it to be mounted to camera rigs, cages, and production accessories when used as a standalone converter rather than attached directly to the Ninja. Power is supplied directly from the Ninja V/V+ via the side connector, requiring no external power source when mounted to the recorder. For standalone use, power is via USB-C.
