This EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) emulator detects and resolves compatibility issues between video sources, extenders, displays, and other components. It supports up to UHD 4K video signals, HDR (high dynamic range) formats, and multichannel audio, and it is HDCP 2.2 compliant. It also restores any +5V or HPD (hot plug device) signals lost from the source or along longer cables and enables the signal handshaking needed for the delivery of video content from your source.
