Product Overview
The Atlas Sound SS500E is a heavy-duty aluminum speaker stand designed for portable PA, DJ, and commercial AV installations. Weighing only 7 lbs while supporting loads up to 150 lbs, it adjusts from 57" to 85" in height to accommodate a wide range of speaker placement requirements. The SS500E is particularly well suited for use with Atlas Sound SM series coaxial speakers in live sound, presentation, and installed audio environments.
Product Description
The SS500E features a positive clamping system with a safety support pin that prevents slip-free support failure when the clutch is engaged. The vertical tube assembly uses 1 1/2" and 1 3/8" tubing, and the clutch mechanism includes a protective insert to prevent scratching during height adjustment. Legs are double braced and fitted with heavy-duty rubber feet for added floor stability. When folded for transport, the stand collapses to a 53" profile, making it manageable for technicians carrying multiple pieces of equipment. The ebony finish gives the stand a professional appearance in stage and installed settings. The 150 lb load capacity provides ample margin for most commercial loudspeaker applications.
