Product Description
The SM195-812 is part of the AtlasIED 195 Series enclosure line, engineered specifically for recessed or surface mounting of 840 Series clock/speaker baffles. This surface-mount model carries the SM prefix and is finished in textured white epoxy that closely matches the 840 Series clock/speaker baffle panel face. The enclosure body is fabricated from 20-gauge cold-rolled steel and is heavily undercoated to suppress mechanical resonances that can degrade audio quality. A built-in compartment divider separates high-voltage and low-voltage wiring runs inside the enclosure, supporting clean and code-compliant wiring practices. Twelve knockouts are provided—four each on the top and bottom and two at each end—offering flexible conduit entry from multiple directions. All 195 Series enclosures include provisions for installing standard 8-inch loudspeakers. The SM195-812 measures 34-1/16 inches wide by 18-13/16 inches tall by 3 inches deep, sized to accept the full 840-812A baffle. Shipping weight is 13.5 lbs. A 60-month warranty is included.
