Product Overview
The Atlas Sound SIN is a surface-mounting indoor back box designed for use with AtlasIED SVT Series Voice/Tone loudspeakers. It mounts to any standard single or double-gang electrical back box for concealed conduit applications, making it an appropriate enclosure choice for life safety paging systems, intercom stations, and emergency tone distribution in indoor commercial environments. The neutral grey, epoxy-finished CRS construction is BAA and TAA compliant.
Product Description
The SIN enclosure is constructed of cold-rolled steel with an epoxy finish in neutral grey, providing a clean, professional appearance in corridor, classroom, and office environments. The unit measures 4" square by 1 1/2" deep (102 x 38 mm), fitting directly over any standard single or double-gang electrical box. Conduit entry is provided via 1/2" knockouts arranged on three sides (three per side) and five on the rear, giving the installer flexibility in conduit routing direction. The enclosure is specifically engineered for the SVT Series Voice/Tone speakers, which provide clear, consistent voice and signal transmission in life safety paging applications. The SIN supports flush, semi-recessed, and surface-mounting configurations depending on the associated VT or VTF speaker model selected. Power handling options of 15 W and 2 W models are available in the SVT family, including an optional 25V transformer tap for distributed audio system compatibility. BIM/Revit families and UL-listed emergency loudspeaker documentation are available for design coordination. BAA and TAA compliance supports domestic and government procurement.
