Product Overview
The Atlas Sound SH2-22 is a 2RU, 22-inch deep rack shelf designed to mount consumer electronics and AV equipment in standard 19-inch Atlas equipment racks and compatible rack enclosures. This rack shelf provides a stable platform for gear that does not have standard rack ears, including cable boxes, media players, unmanaged switches, and other rack-adjacent equipment commonly found in commercial AV and broadcast installations. BAA and TAA compliant for government and federally funded project applications.
Product Description
The SH2-22 occupies 2 rack units (3.5 inches) of vertical space and provides 22 inches of usable shelf depth, accommodating most consumer and prosumer equipment enclosures. The shelf is finished in black and is designed to install in Atlas rack systems using standard rack hardware. An optional clamping system (SHCK kit, sold separately) can be used to secure equipment to the shelf surface, preventing movement or tipping in mobile rack or touring applications. Rear support brackets are also available as an optional accessory for additional stability with heavier equipment. The SH2-22 is rated BAA and TAA compliant, meeting Buy America Act and Trade Agreements Act requirements for government-funded AV installations in schools, government offices, and military facilities. Shipping weight is 11.04 lbs. A 5-year warranty is included. The SH Series Shelf Data Sheet is available for download for project documentation and submittal packages.
