The Atlas Sound SD4-14 is a recessed 4RU storage drawer for 19-inch equipment racks, providing 14-inch full-extension slide access to store media, tools, microphones, and rack accessories. Built from 16-gauge cold-rolled steel with 100 lb-rated ball-bearing roller slides, this drawer is designed for permanent commercial AV installations in control rooms, broadcast facilities, and wall-mount rack enclosures. It is the ideal rack storage solution for integrators who need organized, accessible storage within a standard EIA rack frame.
Product Description
The SD4-14 occupies 4 rack units in any standard 19-inch EIA cabinet and extends 14 inches outward on full-extension ball-bearing slides for complete access to stored contents. The interior drawer width measures 16-5/16 inches (414mm), providing ample space for tapes, discs, microphones, cables, tools, and other rack accessories. Heavy-duty 16-gauge cold-rolled steel construction supports up to 100 lbs of content, making it suitable for heavier items like cable reels or spare hardware. Hold-in detents on the slides keep the drawer securely closed during normal operation, preventing accidental opening in mobile or vibration-prone environments. The recessed design integrates flush with the rack frame for a clean finished appearance. An ebony black powder-coat finish matches standard Atlas Sound and most third-party rack cabinets. The optional SD-LOCK accessory is available separately if keyed access control is required. The SD4-14 is particularly recommended for use with Atlas Sound 300 and 320 Series wall-mount cabinets.
