The Atlas Sound RCK-18 is a heavy-duty caster kit designed specifically for Atlas Sound 100 and 200 Series floor rack cabinets with 18.5-inch depth. The kit adds rolling mobility to fixed rack enclosures, allowing installers to reposition equipment racks without requiring disassembly or additional hardware. Purpose-built for commercial AV rack installations, the RCK-18 supports up to 1,000 pounds of loaded cabinet weight, making it suitable for densely populated equipment racks in machine rooms, server closets, and AV equipment areas. The included mounting brackets are designed for direct attachment to the cabinet's bottom panel, providing front-to-back structural reinforcement during transport and repositioning.

Product Description

The RCK-18 caster kit includes four zinc-plated swivel casters with 2 5/8" hard rubber tread wheels and an overall height of 3.75 inches. Two heavy-duty 14-gauge cold-rolled steel mounting brackets, each 4 inches wide and 0.075 inches thick, are included for affixing beneath the cabinet's bottom panel. The inner edges feature a 1/2-inch downward flange that provides additional structural support to the cabinet bottom panel under load. The brackets are finished in black and attach directly to the cabinet using supplied hardware. Once installed, the RCK-18 increases overall cabinet height by 1.75 inches. The swivel casters allow free omnidirectional movement, making it easy for one or two technicians to roll loaded racks across flat floors for cable management, equipment access, or room reconfiguration. This kit accommodates Atlas Sound 19-inch wide by 18.5-inch deep 100 and 200 Series cabinets. Multiple racks can also be ganged together using the caster kits for consolidated equipment areas. The RCK-18 ships assembled and includes all mounting hardware needed for installation.
