The IP-DDS belongs to the AtlasIED IPX Series of network endpoints and functions as an indoor dual sided display with time, scrolling text, speakers, and a high-visibility LED flasher. Because both faces carry an LCD display, a single unit mounted in a corridor or commons area communicates in two directions, reducing the device count in hallway intercom and bell schedule installations. The endpoint registers as a native communication device within InformaCast, SA-Announce, and GCK, supporting advanced alerting, bell schedules, pre-recorded scheduled announcements, and intercom over the existing WAN/LAN architecture.
