The Atlas Sound FA730-8 is a round recessed replacement grille designed for use with 8" Strategy Series I in-ceiling speakers and enclosures. It provides a hardware-free, tool-free installation experience and delivers a recessed light fixture aesthetic that blends cleanly into commercial and institutional ceiling designs. The FA730-8 is cUL listed, TAA compliant, BAA compliant, and UL1480 listed for general signaling, meeting safety and procurement requirements for a wide range of commercial and government projects.

Product Description

The FA730-8 attaches using four welded and serrated push-in studs that lock into Strategy Series I enclosures and plaster rings without any tools or exposed hardware. The two-piece round construction features a white outer ring with a black, recessed fine-perforated insert that mimics the appearance of a recessed lighting fixture, maintaining a clean and unobtrusive ceiling profile. The smooth, baked-on two-part hybrid epoxy finish resists scratching and maintains its appearance over time in commercial environments. The grille measures 11 1/8" in height overall with a 1/2" depth, allowing it to seat flush against standard ceiling tile and drywall surfaces without protruding. The narrow ring design maximizes the exposed speaker cone area for optimum acoustic performance. The FA730-8 is exclusively compatible with Strategy I series enclosures and plaster rings, and is not suitable for use with other baffle or enclosure families. Hydrophobic treatment is optionally available for high-humidity environments. The product carries a 60-month warranty.
