Product Description
The FA170-6 is engineered to work exclusively with Strategy I Series enclosures and plaster rings, ensuring dimensional compatibility and consistent acoustic performance. Three integrated weld studs allow tool-free push-in installation, which speeds up deployment in commercial ceiling tile grids without requiring fastening hardware. An integrally designed sub-plate with slotted cutouts allows the grille to be rotated in-line with the ceiling regardless of enclosure orientation, giving installers flexibility when aligning to ceiling tile patterns. The smooth two-part hybrid epoxy baked-on finish provides a durable, consistent white surface that integrates cleanly into standard commercial suspended ceiling grids. No exposed hardware is visible after installation, maintaining a professional and unobtrusive appearance. The FA170-6 meets UL1480 general signaling requirements, making it suitable for installations with life safety signaling requirements. The unit carries a 60-month warranty. BAA and TAA compliance qualifies it for federally funded and government building projects.
