Product Overview
The Atlas Sound EFP3-2 is a recessed-mount dual fan panel that occupies 3 rack units in standard 19-inch EIA cabinets, delivering 230 CFM of total airflow for rapid heat dissipation from enclosed rack equipment. Each of the two fans provides 115 CFM independently, and the panel can be configured for either exhaust or intake cooling without tools. Product Description
The EFP3-2 mounts to standard EIA 19-inch rack rails in a recessed configuration, providing 230 CFM of combined airflow through two 115 CFM fans. The fans are factory-configured for exhaust cooling but can be physically rotated in the field to intake mode without specialized tools, giving integrators flexibility during installation. Each fan is protected by a nickel-chrome plated wire grille backed with a steel wire mesh screen, preventing debris ingestion and providing physical protection against accidental contact. The 16-gauge cold-rolled steel panel mounts to all EIA-standard mounting rails and ships in standard black finish to match most rack enclosures. A 6-foot line cord is included for direct connection to an AC outlet or power strip within the rack. Operating at 30 watts total draw, the EFP3-2 is power-efficient relative to its airflow output. The recessed mount keeps the fan assembly within the rack footprint, avoiding front clearance issues in tight equipment rooms.
