The Atlas Sound ECM-20M is a 20-amp AC power conditioner and spike suppressor designed for commercial AV rack installations where clean, protected AC power delivery is essential. Product Description

The ECM-20M features both Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) noise filtering to remove unwanted signal contamination from sources such as electric motors, HVAC systems, and switching power supplies that commonly share electrical circuits with AV equipment. Clamping Suppression technology engages when AC spike or surge events occur, diverting excess voltage away from connected equipment before it can cause damage. The spike clamping circuit activates at a minimum of 460 VRMS at 3,000 amps, with a maximum clamping voltage of 6,000V, providing protection against both common power quality events and high-energy transients. AC mains voltage and current monitoring is included, along with Extreme Voltage Shutdown (EVS) circuitry that activates when line voltage falls below or exceeds the 102–132VAC operating window. Front-panel indicators include an Incoming AC Present LED and an Active LED for quick system status verification. The Manual/Auto On/Off switch provides local control independent of the remote activation interface. The ECM-20M provides two 20-amp outlets and is designed for housing in the Atlas Sound ECM-RACEWY6, which accepts multiple ECM modules for expanded outlet capacity directly connected to the AC mains. Power consumption of the unit itself is 0.5 watts, adding minimal load overhead. Dimensions of 3.0" H x 8.5" W x 3.5" D allow straightforward rack integration.
