The Atlas Sound DR-32 is a double re-entrant horn designed for use with compression driver units in commercial paging, voice communications, and background music applications requiring wide-area coverage over ambient noise. With a 95° uniform dispersion pattern and an exponentially-flared design, the DR-32 delivers even sound distribution across large open areas. Its all-metal, weather-resistant construction and IP45 rating make it appropriate for year-round outdoor or industrial use, and the integral U-type steel mounting bracket allows precise directional aiming for long-throw or wide-coverage configurations.
Product Description
The Atlas Sound DR Series double re-entrant horns are built around an exponentially-flared throat that maintains uniform frequency distribution across the 95° coverage angle. The DR-32 is compatible with all standard high-efficiency compression drivers using a 1 3/8"-18 male thread coupling, making it interchangeable with AtlasIED PD and SD Series compression drivers as well as third-party drivers meeting the same thread standard. An internal resonance damping ring improves response through the extended frequency range, reducing coloration and improving intelligibility in reverberant spaces. The all-metal construction is finished in durable grey epoxy, providing long-term protection against UV, moisture, and chemical exposure in outdoor and industrial settings. The IP45 ingress protection rating confirms resistance to dust and water jet penetration, suitable for covered outdoor installations such as stadium concourses, loading docks, athletic fields, and manufacturing floors. The integral U-type steel mounting bracket provides 360° rotation and multi-axis aiming adjustment, giving installers full directional flexibility without additional mounting hardware. The compression driver is sold separately and is not included. The DR-32 is backed by a 60-month warranty from Atlas Sound.
