Product Description
The Atlas Sound 51-4 is a 4-inch steel speaker baffle built on an economical industry-standard design that fits a wide selection of compatible Atlas enclosures and mounting rings. Speaker mounting studs are included for efficient on-site assembly, reducing installation time when working through multiple ceiling locations. The baffle mounts to standard Atlas (EZ)96-4 and (EZ)96-4X series enclosures, providing a straightforward path through specification and procurement. Its one-piece cold-rolled steel construction prevents the vibration and rattle common in multi-piece assemblies, contributing to a quiet acoustic environment in offices, schools, and retail spaces. The 7-3/8" diameter baffle carries a UL 1480 safety listing for use in fire-rated ceiling assemblies. Optional hydrophobic environmental coating is available for humid or outdoor-adjacent installations. The 51-4 is BAA and TAA compliant for federally funded projects, and comes with a 60-month warranty.
