Product Overview
The Atlas Sound 410-4 is a compact unidirectional surface mount aluminum baffle and enclosure for 4" (102 mm) loudspeakers. Designed for wall and ceiling installations in corridors and spaces where mounting depth or surface area is limited, the 410-4 provides a durable, non-rusting housing with a one-piece grille for long-term indoor and outdoor service. It is UL Listed and accommodates mounting to walls, ceilings, or 4" octagon electrical boxes.
Product Description
The 410-4 baffle is constructed from spun 0.038" aluminum, forming a compact cylindrical housing 6" in diameter and 4.72" deep. The interior is undercoated and patchjute lined to prevent mechanical and acoustical resonance that could color the audio output. The assembly mounts directly to walls, ceilings, or standard 4" (102 mm) octagon electrical outlet boxes manufactured by others, simplifying rough-in integration with existing conduit infrastructure. The one-piece aluminum grille provides protection to the installed speaker cone while maintaining a low-profile satin aluminum appearance. The 410-4 accepts a standard 4" loudspeaker driver (sold separately) and is engineered as a unidirectional enclosure, directing audio output toward the listener while the housing absorbs rear radiation. Hydrophobic treatment is available as an option for installations in high-humidity environments. The 410-4 is UL Listed for safety compliance in commercial projects and carries Atlas Sound’s standard 60-month warranty.
