Closure panels and finish kits

A ceiling-recessed screen or lift leaves an opening in the ceiling. The closure panel is the door that covers it when the screen is retracted; the finish kit is the trim that resolves the joint between the case and the surrounding ceiling. Both are available in white and black, matched to the case series — the (B), (E) and other letter designations refer to specific case profiles, so the panel has to match the screen model rather than just the opening size.

Ordering these with the screen rather than afterwards matters. A recessed installation is not finished until the closure is in, and a screen sitting in an open ceiling cavity waiting on trim is a visible problem in a finished room.

Mounting and installation hardware

Brackets, adapters and installation hardware for wall and ceiling-mounted screens, including alternate bracket sets for cases where the standard mounting pattern does not suit the substrate. Worth reviewing against the actual wall or ceiling construction before install day, since masonry, stucco and steel framing each want different fixings.

Specifying accessories with the screen

The pattern we see most often is a screen ordered on its own and the trim discovered during install, which turns a one-visit job into two. Pull the case series and the ceiling construction off the drawings and order the closure, finish kit and brackets on the same purchase order.
