This space-saving point-of-view remote camera captures and streams high-quality video in 4K 60p, covering the entire room with its wide field of view.
An easy entry point into 4K video production is provided by the SRG-XP1 POV (point of view) camera. It can also be used as a secondary camera in hospital operating rooms and e-sports venues to stream video 'unattended'.
With its compact dimensions and simple installation, the SRG-XP1 is ideal for multi-camera setups without the need for a dedicated camera operator. In space-limited places where installing large numbers of full-size cameras would be impractical or costly, this product can be mounted on walls, ceilings, tripods, and shelves.
Even from very close range, the wide-angle lens covers a generous 102 Degree field of view (horizontal), allowing the camera to see the entire subject, regardless of distance. In a classroom or auditorium, it can capture the entire audience-even from tricky positions where ordinary room cameras won't work.
In today's IP networked production environments, video, power, and control signals are all transmitted over standard Ethernet cables, reducing installation costs.
Robust, stylish and compact
With dimensions of 2.02 x 2.85 x 4.79 inches and a weight of 0.92 lb, the SRG-XP1 can be easily integrated into any environment. There are upper and lower tripod mounts to increase installation flexibility. A large, easy-to-read tally lamp and rear panel guards provide extra robustness.
Wide field of view
Over 102 degrees (85 degrees with distortion correction) of horizontal field of view are covered by the wide angle lens. As well as accommodating the presenter's entire face or body from close range without cropping, it can also include the entire room, allowing everyone to be seen.
Multiple streaming outputs
Further operational flexibility is provided by streaming video over HDMI, Ethernet, and USB 3.0 interfaces.
Easy IP connectivity, single-cable installation
With a single Ethernet cable, camera control, PoE, and streaming video output are all carried, reducing installation costs and simplifying integration. In addition to RTSP and RTMP support, full IP integration includes support for Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP). Optional licenses support NDI |HX as well.
High quality 4K 60p images
4K 60p video is captured in smooth, crisp detail by the large 1/1.8-type Exmor R CMOS sensor.
Broadcast-style tally light
When the camera is active, the tally light on the camera provides visual confirmation to the lecturer or presenter. Performer/presenter and director can easily view the horizontal-bar light.
Audio input
During lectures, meetings, or reality TV shows, you can capture clear images with sound using an external microphone.
