The Crestron SW-XIOC-EM is the XiO Cloud Endpoint Management license that provides remote provisioning, configuration, and management for all devices in a single room, billed monthly per room. This Crestron XiO Cloud endpoint management license is the foundational room license required before any other XiO Cloud functionality can be added. It enables IT and AV teams to claim, configure, and update Crestron devices and supported third-party devices from one cloud interface. SW-XIOC-EM is purchased once per room under the room-based licensing model.

Product Description

XiO Cloud is Crestron's IoT-based platform, built on Microsoft Azure IoT Hub, for remotely provisioning, monitoring, and managing Crestron devices and supported third-party devices across an enterprise. The Endpoint Management license unlocks management and configuration for every device in a licensed room, including the ability to configure supported third-party devices within the XiO Cloud environment. Devices can be claimed before they ship, organized into groups and subgroups, and configured or updated in bulk, with scheduled actions such as program loads, firmware updates, and reboots.

Under the room-based licensing model, one SW-XIOC-EM license is purchased for each room in the account, and additional licenses such as the SW-XIOC-S Support license or SW-XIOC-API REST API license can be added per room for extra functionality. All room-based licenses are billed monthly and can be added, removed, or transferred between rooms from the configuration interface. The service requires no special ports or permissions to deploy on an enterprise network and supports single sign-on with services such as Microsoft Active Directory and Okta.
