Product Overview
The Blackmagic Design SDI to Audio Mini Converter de-embeds four channels of analog audio or eight channels of AES/EBU digital audio from any SDI video connection, giving you easy access to embedded audio for output to mixers, broadcast decks, audio monitors, and other equipment. It auto-switches between SD and HD using 3 Gb/s SDI technology and includes a redundant SDI input.
Product Description
The SDI to Audio Mini Converter takes an SDI input — switchable between SD, HD, and 3 Gb/s SDI — and de-embeds its audio to four channels of balanced analog or eight channels of AES/EBU digital via 1/4" jacks. It automatically switches between standard and high definition when the input changes, supporting NTSC, PAL, 1080i, 1080PsF, and 720p formats, with new formats addable over USB. A redundant SDI input automatically switches over if the main input is lost. A universal power supply with international socket adapters and a locking cable tie point is included, so it can be used worldwide.
