The Blackmagic Design Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 3G converts SDI to HDMI and HDMI to SDI at the same time, letting you combine SDI and HDMI gear in one setup. It supports resolutions up to DCI 2K on SDI and 1080p60 on HDMI, and adds camera control conversion for Blackmagic HDMI cameras such as the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and 6K. This version includes a 100–240V power supply with four international socket adapters.

Product Description

This pocket-sized bidirectional converter has one SD/HD/3G-SDI and one HDMI 2.0 connector on each side, converting in both directions simultaneously even across different standards. It can pass camera control and tally to an HDMI-output BMPCC 4K or 6K from an SDI-based live switcher, making those cameras usable in an SDI workflow. The converter supports HDMI timecode conversion to and from SDI, built-in re-clocking on the 3G-SDI output for stable signals over longer cable runs, automatic input signal detection, and embedded audio on both HDMI and SDI. The sturdy metal housing has power and signal LED indicators and a tally light, and the USB-C port powers the unit from a monitor, laptop, or adapter and handles firmware updates from a Mac or Windows computer. This model ships with a 100–240V power supply and four international socket adapters, and can also draw power over USB-C.
