Protect your valuable electronics, such as computers, televisions, sound systems, game consoles, projectors, home appliances, and more from dangerous surges, spikes, and lightning using the Performance SurgeArrest 12-Outlet Surge Protector with USB Charging from APC. This unit has 12 NEMA 5-15R outlets, four of which are spaced to accommodate larger transformer plugs, and a standard NEMA 5-15P input connection. It uses an input voltage of 120V @ 50/60 Hz with a 15A current, a maximum load of 1800W, and has a surge energy rating of 4320 joules. There are also two integrated USB Type-A charging ports that provide 2.4A for devices such as smartphones and tablets. This SurgeArrest model utilizes an integrated 6' power cord and turns on and off using an integrated power switch. Protection is provided by a limited lifetime warranty, and connected equipment that is damaged while the SurgeArrest is active will be covered up to $300,000, subject to APC's terms and conditions.

Rear Wall-Mount Key Holes Allows for flexible setup in tight locations. Safety Overload Indicator This indicator illuminates when connected equipment draws more power than unit's capacity. To remedy the condition, unplug less vital equipment. Plug Activated Safety Shutters Shutters protect users from accidental contact with unused outlets. Protection Working Indicator SurgeArrest will warn you if its circuitry has been damaged by heavy strike or power line surge and it is unable to provide 100% protection. If still under warranty, APC will then replace your damaged SurgeArrest free of charge. Resettable Circuit Breaker The resettable circuit breaker offers easy recovery from overloads with no need to replace a fuse. Cord Management To help organize power cords. Fail Safe Mode Most other surge suppressors continue to let power through even after their circuits have been damaged, leaving your equipment exposed to future surges. APC's SurgeArrest has a fail safe mode, which means that once the circuit of an APC SurgeArrest has been compromised the unit disconnects equipment from the power supply, helping to ensure that damaging surges do not reach your equipment. Adjustable Cable Management Keeps cords and cables neat and organized. Site Wiring Fault Indicator In order to work properly, surge suppressors require a correctly wired and grounded outlet. APC surge protectors identify dangerous wiring problems before you plug in your equipment. Catastrophic Event Protection / Lightning & Surge Protection SurgeArrest components such as MOVs and thermal fuse help ensure an instantaneous reaction to lightning strikes and wiring faults. If the surge components are damaged due to a power spike or overvoltage, excess power cannot reach your equipment. Unlike the APC SurgeArrest products, most surge suppressors continue to let power through even after circuits have been damaged, leaving your equipment exposed to other damaging surges. Convenience Transformer Block Spacing Connect bulky transformer block plugs without covering up other outlets. 180° Rotating Cord Retainer A 180° rotating cord with strain relief offers flexibility in positioning the SurgeArrest and in routing the power cord. Protection IEEE Let-Through Ratings and Regulatory Agency Compliance APC surge protectors undergo stringent testing by IEEE, and are awarded "let-through ratings," which indicate the maximum voltage level that can possibly reach your equipment after a surge or voltage spike has passed through an electric surge protector. Lower IEEE let-through ratings indicate better protection and performance. The APC Essential SurgeArrest series offers performance with a let-through rating of less than 330V to 500V for North American products and a rating of less than 15% for products sold worldwide. All APC products comply with local agency safety requirements, including UL in North America and CE/Kema/Gost/C-tick/A-Tick/Telepermit in their respective regions. Noise Filtering Attenuates EMI/RFI line noise that can cause data errors and keyboard lockups, helping to ensure better performance of protected equipment.
