Product Overview
The Sony BRCX400 is a 4K IP PTZ camera built for commercial AV deployment. BRC-X400, 4K, 30x (4K) / 80x (HD) zoom, NDI|HX-ready. Specified by integrators for broadcast studio and live production and other commercial meeting space environments, it delivers professional-grade imaging for permanent installation.
Product Description
The versatile BRC-X400 PTZ camera is ideal for a wide range of environments, from broadcast studios and remote on-air suites to sports stadiums, arenas, houses of worship and lecture halls. Its 1/2.5-type Exmor R sensor captures broadcast-quality 4K with excellent sensitivity, very low noise and rich, natural color. An integrated high-resolution lens provides powerful zoom up to 80x in Full HD (30x in 4K) with an expansive approx. 70-degree wide-angle coverage. Efficient IP-based live production is augmented with support for NDI|HX (via optional license) for flexible configuration with other networked NDI devices, and images can be reviewed remotely via a web browser with RTSP for smooth, stable streaming over IP. Installation and setup are simple, with a Picture Setting File that applies the same settings to multiple cameras via a web interface, plus genlock support and an on-air tally lamp for multi-camera live events.
