Product Description
The BRC-X1000 is Sony’s first 4K remote camera, combining uncompromising broadcast picture quality and smooth, silent PTZ operation with the flexibility of 3G-SDI and HDMI connections. Designed for remote operation, this compact robotic camera captures images in hard-to-reach or unobtrusive positions and is at home in newsrooms, remote studios, auditoriums, houses of worship, courtrooms and stadiums, well suited to efficient multi-camera setups under a single operator. A 1.0-type Exmor R CMOS sensor captures detail-packed 4K at 30p with four times the pixel count of Full HD and excellent low-light sensitivity, plus shallow depth-of-field bokeh. Near-silent 12x optical zoom extends with Clear Image Zoom to 18x (4K) and 24x (HD), and to 48x in Tele Convert Mode at HD resolution. Broadcast-friendly features include dual tally lamps, ceiling/tabletop/tripod mounting, PoE+ and genlock. The BRC-X1000/1 is the US/Canada model, bundled with the AC-UES1230MT power supply and cord.
