RGBlink Q16pro 8U – High-Density Modular Universal Processor
Product Overview
The RGBlink Q16pro 8U is a high-density, rack-mount universal video processor built on a pure-hardware FPGA architecture for reliable, low-latency performance in permanent commercial AV and digital signage installations. The 8U chassis supports up to 10 input modules and 10 output modules, accommodating configurations as large as 40x40 signal routing, making it a strong choice for large-format video wall processor deployments in corporate command centers, government operations rooms, and broadcast facilities. The Q16pro platform is field-proven for multi-screen applications where 4K source connectivity, EDID management, and hot-swap module support are required.
Product Description
The Q16pro 8U ships as a chassis with motherboard, LCD status display, and a single power supply. Input and output modules are purchased separately and inserted into the 8U bay’s 20 available slots (Output slots 1 through 8 also accept input modules for flexible slot allocation). The FPGA-based processing core handles 12-bit input and output with RGB 4:4:4 color space throughout the signal chain. Each output module supports spanning up to 8 screens without consuming layer budget, allowing very large video wall configurations without additional processing hardware. The Q16pro 8U accepts a broad range of input modules: Quad HDMI 1.3, Quad DVI, Dual DP1.2 + HDMI2.0 4K@60, Quad HDBaseT, Quad 3G-SDI, and a single H.264 IP input module for network video source integration. Output modules include Quad HDMI, Dual HDMI 2.0 4K@60, Quad 3G-SDI, Quad DVI, Quad HDBaseT, and Dual HDMI 1.4. An optional redundant power module (950-0011-02-0) supports dual power supply operation for uptime-critical deployments. Multi-window monitoring displays input and output signal status on-screen for operator awareness. Dual independent OSD rolling subtitles and LOGO overlay are standard. 3D image processing and highly configurable EDID management are built in. The Q16pro is controlled via RGBlink XPOSE software and is deployable in corporate visual messaging, digital signage, boardrooms, and government facilities. Available at creationnetworks.net.
