The Peerless-AV PLCM-4 SmartMount Tilt Box is a cold-rolled steel ceiling mount component that provides up to 20° of tilt and 360° of swivel for displays up to 90" and 150 lb, designed to work within Peerless-AV ceiling plate and extension column systems.
Product Description
The PLCM-4 is the tilt box component of Peerless-AV's ceiling mount system, connecting to separately sold ceiling plates and extension columns to complete a full ceiling suspension installation. The unit is rated for displays up to 150 lb and accommodates screen sizes up to 90", making it well-suited for digital signage, waiting areas, conference rooms, and other commercial display applications where ceiling mounting is preferred.
Fabricated entirely from cold-rolled steel, the PLCM-4 delivers the structural rigidity required for long-term commercial AV installations. The tilt range of up to 20° allows installers to angle the display downward toward viewers, while the full 360° side-to-side swivel makes it straightforward to orient the screen precisely during installation or reconfiguration.
The tilt box attaches to 1.5" to 2.0" diameter pipes using included 2" U-bolts, providing compatibility across a broad range of Peerless-AV extension column diameters. A separately sold adapter plate is required to complete the monitor attachment. Theft-resistant Penta-Pin security screws are included to protect the display in public-access environments.
