The 14" shelf depth and wide format make it a practical fit for mid-depth, wider-chassis gear in commercial and residential AV racks.

Many of the components integrators are asked to rack, including streaming media players, cable boxes, and compact AV receivers, were never designed for rack mounting. The RSH4S5MW gives that equipment a proper home: Middle Atlantic cuts the face plate opening to match your component exactly, so the device presents a flush, finished front in the rack elevation instead of an open shelf gap. In the RSH4S naming scheme, the 5 indicates a 5U rack height (8.75" of vertical space), the M depth code indicates a 14" deep shelf, and the trailing W identifies the wide format for broader equipment chassis.
