The NE24.24M 4X4 starts as a 4-input by 4-output DSP audio matrix and grows to accommodate the expanding requirements of a facility over time. Adding field-installable expansion cards in 4-channel increments provides up to 24 inputs and 24 outputs in the same chassis without replacing the base unit or reprogramming from scratch. Each expansion card carries its own dedicated DSP processor, so per-channel processing power is maintained as the system grows. The Protea DSP library includes variable-Q graphic and parametric EQ, high-order crossover filters (Butterworth, Bessel, Linkwitz-Riley, and Notched-Linkwitz-Riley), advanced automatic feedback suppression, autolevelers, compressors, matrix duckers, limiters, frequency-keyed noise gates, and time delay up to 1365ms per channel for loudspeaker time alignment. Full any-to-any matrix routing allows any input to be distributed to any output with individual level control at each routing point. Euroblock connectors on all audio I/O provide reliable and compact field-wiring connections.
