Unlike the amplifier-integrated PEMA and NE Series products, the NE24.24M is a pure signal processor that connects between audio sources and external power amplifiers, providing the matrix routing and DSP processing layer for systems of any scale up to 24 channels. The 12-input x 12-output configuration ships with the appropriate expansion cards installed in the field-expandable chassis; each expansion card adds 4 channels with its own individual DSP processor, allowing the total processing capacity to be scaled as installation requirements change. Matrixing allows any input to be routed to any output with individual level control at each routing point, enabling sophisticated multi-zone audio distribution across large commercial facilities.
