The Qt X 300 control module is a sound masking generator, controller, and amplifier with two auxiliary audio inputs for distributing paging and background music through the same emitter network. Although this bundle is configured for two zones with 24 active emitters, the controller supports up to three zones and scales to 36,000 square feet (3,345 m²), leaving headroom for future expansion. Each zone is adjusted independently for masking level, aux audio level, and spectrum, delivering superior uniformity and a more comfortable masking experience along with clear paging and music. The system uses the same control modules, cabling infrastructure, and speaker driver size as other Cambridge Sound systems, keeping installation and calibration straightforward. Settings are managed from the front panel or from a PC, Mac, or tablet using Qt Monitoring and Control Software, including error reporting and time-based masking levels.
