Product Overview
The ZeeVee Z4KANLENCF3 is a ZyPer4K SDVoE fiber encoder that accepts HDMI 2.0 and legacy analog video inputs including component, composite, VGA, and S-video, transmitting over 10Gb multimode fiber up to 300 meters. As an analog video AV-over-IP encoder with fiber connectivity, it integrates legacy AV sources into a modern SDVoE distribution network across long distances without requiring separate scan converters or analog-to-HDMI adapters. The unit is managed via the ZyPer Management Platform for centralized routing, video wall, and multiview control.
Product Description
The Z4KANLENCF3 is the fiber variant of the Z4KANLENCC3, extending the transmission distance from 100m (Cat6a) to 300m (multimode fiber) while retaining the full analog and HDMI input capability of the ZyPer4K Extended encoder platform. It is the correct choice for deployments where legacy analog sources are located more than 100 meters from the 10GbE switching core, or where fiber is the established infrastructure medium. The encoder accepts HDMI 2.0 or analog inputs (component, composite, VGA, S-video) and transmits the selected signal as an uncompressed SDVoE stream over 10Gb SFP+ fiber. ZMP manages routing assignments, video wall configurations (up to 15x15), and multiview layouts (up to 19 sources). HDCP 2.2 and AES-128 are standard. RS-232 (9-pin D-sub, 115.2 kbps) and IR (3.5mm) pass-through support control system integration. Power consumption is approximately 9W.
Key Features
- HDMI 2.0 + Analog Video Inputs — Integrates component, composite, VGA, and S-video sources into the SDVoE network without external converters.
- 10Gb Multimode Fiber (SFP+) — Extends network reach to 300m, accommodating large campus and stadium installations.
- Uncompressed SDVoE Encoding — Full-bandwidth transmission of the selected input over the ZyPer4K network.
- Video Wall: 15x15 — Large-format video wall support managed via ZMP.
- Multiview: 19 Sources — Flexible multi-source display layouts including legacy analog inputs.
- HDCP 2.2 + AES-128 — Content protection and encrypted network transport.
- RS-232 & IR Pass-Through — Third-party control system integration at the source end.
- 1Gb Utility Port — Dedicated management network interface.
- ~9W Power Draw — Low consumption for high-density fiber deployments.
- 3-Year Warranty — ZeeVee standard commercial warranty.
Typical Applications
- Campus AV upgrades integrating legacy analog sources over fiber infrastructure
- Government and military facilities with analog equipment in buildings requiring fiber distribution
- Broadcast facilities with long fiber runs from analog source locations to network core
- Museums with legacy AV exhibits requiring IP-based distribution over fiber
- Stadium and arena installations with analog cameras or displays at long fiber distances

Frequently Asked Questions
- Why use the fiber version over the copper analog encoder?
- Choose the Z4KANLENCF3 when analog source locations are more than 100 meters from the 10GbE switching core, or when fiber is the established cabling infrastructure. The copper version (Z4KANLENCC3) is appropriate for runs under 100m.
- Does the encoder upscale analog sources to 4K?
- No. Analog inputs are transmitted at their native resolution. HDMI 2.0 sources can achieve up to 4KP60 4:4:4. The encoder does not apply upscaling to analog video inputs.
- Can fiber analog encoders and copper HDMI decoders coexist on the same ZyPer4K network?
- Yes. All ZyPer4K encoder and decoder variants are managed within the same ZMP instance and can coexist on a common 10GbE network infrastructure.
- Is USB available on this model?
- No. For USB 2.0 extension, select the Z4KANLENCF3U model.
- What SFP+ transceivers are supported?
- Refer to ZeeVee's current validated SFP+ transceiver compatibility list for the ZyPer4K fiber platform. Using non-validated SFP+ modules may impact performance or warranty coverage.
