The Panamax MIP-15LT power management unit is a compact desktop power conditioner designed for standard 15-amp commercial AV and digital office installations. It provides AVM (Automatic Voltage Monitoring), Protect or Disconnect surge protection, three-stage GFCI-compatible EMI/RFI filtration with Firewall for Noise circuitry, wiring fault detection, and signal line protection for LAN and telephone connections across its 2 always-on AC outlets. The MIP-15LT is part of the MAX Image Pro LT series and is the 15A companion to the MIP-20LT, intended for display, projector, and AV equipment installations on standard 15A circuits.

Product Description

The Panamax MIP-15LT delivers the same protection feature set as the MIP-20LT in a 15-amp configuration for standard NEMA 5-15 circuits. Its three-stage, GFCI-compatible EMI/RFI filter circuit provides high levels of both normal-mode and common-mode noise filtration at 65 dB across the 100kHz to 1MHz range. The Firewall for Noise circuitry specifically targets neutral-to-ground noise — EMI/RFI that travels through the equipment safety ground conductor and contaminates connected digital equipment through a path that conventional line filtering does not cover. Compliance with UL 1283 confirms the filtration performance independently.

AVM (Automatic Voltage Monitoring) monitors incoming line voltage continuously. If voltage drops below 86VAC or rises above 138VAC, the MIP-15LT automatically disconnects power and displays an unsafe power indicator, reconnecting when voltage returns to a safe level. Protect or Disconnect handles catastrophic surge events by instantly disconnecting all AC power rather than attempting to absorb an overwhelming surge. Wiring Fault Safety Shutoff monitors the neutral-to-ground voltage to detect open-ground conditions or miswired receptacles, disconnecting power if an unsafe wiring condition is found. Signal line protection covers 1 LAN connection (RJ-45) and 1 telephone line (RJ-11). A security lock allows permanent mounting to prevent theft in commercial or semi-public environments.
