The Crestron DIN-CENCN-2-POE is a DIN rail-mounted Cresnet Power over Ethernet (PoE) hub providing 2 Cresnet bus ports with Power over Cresnet (PoC) injection for powering Cresnet devices from an Ethernet PoE source rather than from the 4-Series control processor’s Cresnet bus power output. It enables Cresnet devices — keypads, occupancy sensors, and other Cresnet peripherals — to receive power from the building PoE Ethernet infrastructure rather than from the control system processor’s Cresnet bus, extending Cresnet device deployment reach without consuming the processor’s Cresnet power budget.
