The Crestron CP4N is the expanded-network version of the CP4 4-Series control processor, providing additional Ethernet ports and network connectivity beyond the standard CP4 for installations requiring dual-network deployment, additional LAN ports for IP device connections, or specific network interface configurations in complex enterprise AV environments. Identical to the CP4 in 4-Series control capability — SIMPL# programming, HTML5 UI, Cresnet, RS-232, IR, relay, digital I/O, and XiO Cloud management — with the added network interface capacity needed for installations where the CP4’s single Ethernet port is insufficient for the required network topology.

The CP4N addresses enterprise AV deployments where the control processor must interface with multiple network segments simultaneously — a corporate network for IP AV device control alongside a building management network for HVAC or access control, a secure government network with strict VLAN segmentation between AV control and building automation, or a large commercial installation requiring dedicated network interfaces per functional system category. The CP4N’s expanded network connectivity supports these multi-network architectures without an external managed switch providing VLAN segmentation at the processor level. All other 4-Series programming capabilities, Cresnet device support, control I/O, and XiO Cloud management are identical to the CP4.
