This version of the MXW2X is equipped with a Beta 58A dynamic microphone, featuring a supercardioid pickup pattern that provides extra rejection of feedback and room noise in difficult acoustic environments, especially when sound-reinforcement gear or monitor speakers are used.
The interchangeable mic capsule design allows you to replace the Beta58A capsule with a Shure capsule that’s ideal for your application and simply screw it onto the transmitter—including the SM86, SM58, or VP68.
