The high-frequency section is powered by three JBL D2415 compression drivers with 1.5" annular diaphragms, 1.5" voice coils, and neodymium magnets. This advanced horn-loaded design maximizes sensitivity while delivering precise high-frequency detail. For low-frequency performance, the system incorporates dual 10" JBL 2261 Differential Drive® woofers with 3" voice coils, delivering powerful and consistent bass response with reduced distortion and efficient power handling.
Engineered for durability, the enclosure features multi-layer fiberglass with internal birch plywood bracing, paired with powder-coated 14-gauge steel grilles backed by hydrophobic mesh and acoustically transparent cloth. Rated IP55, the VLA-C2100 is built to withstand exposure to dust and water, ensuring reliable performance in outdoor environments.
The integrated rigging system allows for flexible inter-box angle configurations, supporting a wide range of line array designs.
