Its high-frequency beam control, enabled by individually driven tweeters, enhances horizontal dispersion while preserving clarity for both speech and music applications.
With integrated 32-bit floating-point DSP, the DSX280HD supports vertical beam shaping via DDS technology, volume control, delay (up to 20 seconds), and 8-band parametric EQ. The system also includes eight user-definable presets, accessible via third-party control devices, along with Automatic Volume Control (AVC) using the built-in ambient microphone. Advanced network-ready control is provided through JBL’s WinControl software, allowing precise beam steering, audio adjustments, and surveillance monitoring.
