The JBL Intellivox DSX180 is a digitally steerable, self-powered column loudspeaker designed to deliver exceptional clarity and speech intelligibility in smaller or moderately reverberant environments. Ideal for lecture halls, conference facilities, and transport hubs, the DSX180 can also be used as a fill system in larger Intellivox installations to provide coverage in shadow zones.
Equipped with ten custom-designed 4" loudspeakers and four 1" dome tweeters, the DSX180 achieves an extended frequency response up to 18 kHz for higher fidelity audio. An integrated 8-channel Class-D amplifier, powered by a sophisticated switched-mode power supply, ensures reliable performance and long-term durability.
With advanced 32-bit floating point DSP and Vertical Beam Shaping (DDS Technology), the DSX180 provides precise control of vertical coverage while maintaining wide horizontal dispersion.
