The JBL VLA901Hi is a high-output, three-way full-range loudspeaker engineered for permanent installations and large-scale venues. Part of JBL’s revolutionary Variable Line Array (VLA) Series, the VLA901Hi delivers unmatched sound reinforcement at distances beyond the reach of traditional loudspeaker designs.
This premium line array module features dual 15-inch Differential Drive® low-frequency drivers, four 8-inch mid-frequency drivers, and six 1.5-inch exit high-frequency compression drivers, providing a 90° horizontal dispersion from 400 Hz to 16 kHz. The design ensures even coverage, extended frequency response, and exceptional clarity for both live performances and permanent installations.
Constructed from exterior-grade Baltic birch plywood with a rugged DuraFlex™ finish, the VLA901Hi is built to withstand demanding environments. Optional WRC or WRX weather-resistant versions allow use in sheltered outdoor spaces or extreme conditions, including high humidity, salt air, and rapid temperature changes.
The VLA901Hi offers 16 suspension points with M10 threaded hardware for flexible line array configurations, making deployment fast and precise. High sensitivity across all drivers ensures efficient conversion of power to sound, producing a maximum SPL of 149.6 dB at 1 meter. With advanced transducer technology and robust construction, this loudspeaker module provides both high output and low weight for professional audio applications.
