The JBL VLA901H-WRX is a high-output, three-way full-range loudspeaker designed to deliver unrivaled audio performance in permanent installations and challenging outdoor environments. Part of JBL’s acclaimed Variable Line Array (VLA) Series, this WRX version incorporates extreme weather protection, allowing reliable operation in direct exposure to rain, humidity, and harsh environmental conditions.

This precision line array module features two 15" low-frequency Differential Drive® drivers, four 8" mid-frequency drivers, and six 1.5" high-frequency exit compression drivers, providing a 90° nominal horizontal coverage. Each driver is engineered to deliver maximum output with high sensitivity, producing clear, detailed sound from bass through high frequencies. The combination of powerful drivers and advanced transducer technology ensures high output without compromising clarity or accuracy.

The rugged enclosure is constructed from exterior-grade Baltic birch plywood with a DuraFlex™ finish, offering both durability and professional aesthetics. The WRX weather-resistant treatment further safeguards the loudspeaker from extreme environments, including coastal areas, tropical climates, and open-air stages. With a directivity factor (Q) of 20 and a directivity index (DI) of 13 dB, this module maintains precise coverage across large venues.

With 16 comprehensive rigging points, setup for line array configurations is straightforward, allowing audio professionals to optimize vertical and horizontal dispersion.
