The JBL MTC-48TRx12 is a pack of 12 tile rails designed to simplify and secure the installation of JBL ceiling loudspeakers into 4 ft x 4 ft (1200 x 1200 mm) suspended ceiling tiles. Engineered for professional audio applications, these rails provide additional support, reduce vibration transfer, and ensure reliable speaker mounting across a variety of JBL ceiling speaker models. With two rails per speaker, a single pack of 12 is sufficient for mounting six speakers.
Constructed from 1.2 mm (18-gauge) SECC galvanized steel, the MTC-48TRx12 offers robust durability while maintaining a lightweight profile suitable for ceiling tile installation. The inverted V-groove design adds structural support to the tile rail grid in the event of a ceiling tile failure and minimizes vibration transfer that could otherwise lead to rattling or noise interference. Multiple C-ring mounting holes allow for flexible attachment points, and installers can drill additional holes to accommodate unique mounting requirements.
These tile rails are compatible with a wide range of JBL ceiling speakers utilizing the C-ring/tile-rail mounting system, including the Control 24C/CT, 24CT MicroPlus, 26C/CT, 19CS/CST, 47C/T, 47LP, 47HC, 40CS/T, 42C, Control 226C/T, and models 8124/8128. They are not compatible with speakers that use tile bridges, such as CSS Series, 8138, C227C/CT, or C300 Series models.
