JBL AC16 Ultra-Compact 6.5" 2-Way Loudspeaker with 90° x 90° PT™ Waveguide

The JBL AC16 is an ultra-compact, high-output 2-way loudspeaker designed for professional audio installations where space is limited. Part of the AE Compact Series, it features a 6.5-inch Symmetrical Field Geometry (SFG™) low-frequency transducer with a copper-clad aluminum edge-wound 2-inch voice coil, ensuring reduced distortion and enhanced low-frequency response. The 1-inch exit compression driver, coupled with JBL's Progressive Transition™ (PT™) waveguide, provides a 90° x 90° coverage pattern, delivering consistent and clear sound across a wide area.

The AC16's compact enclosure is constructed from rugged multi-ply hardwood, offering durability and resistance to environmental factors. It includes dual Neutrik NL4 connectors and a screw terminal for flexible connectivity options. The loudspeaker also features attachment points for optional U-brackets and third-party OmniMount® type brackets, allowing for versatile mounting configurations.

With a system power rating of 250W (AES) and a maximum SPL of 110 dB at 1 meter, the AC16 is suitable for a variety of applications, including performing arts facilities, auditoriums, worship centers, live clubs, and themed entertainment venues. Its weather-resistant configurations make it adaptable for both indoor and outdoor installations.
