Sharp Unveils Three New MultiSync PN-ME Large Screen Displays

New larger Sharp displays deliver high-quality content with flexibility for a variety of environments.

Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America has unveiled three new, innovative MultiSync PN-ME2 displays, complementing the ME Series display lineup launched in early 2024. These displays come in three sizes: 75-inch Class PN-ME752 (74 ½-inch diagonal), 86-inch Class PN-ME862 (85 6/10-inch diagonal) and 98-inch Class PN-ME982 (97 ½-inch diagonal). These were designed with corporate or educational environments in mind, but can showcase advertising or entertaining content as well.

The larger PN-ME2 displays offer a high-quality visual experience with 450 nits of brightness to keep viewers captivated. Featuring anti-reflective, high haze panels and a slimmer design that’s up to 18% thinner than previous models, they fit seamlessly into any space. Built for ease of use and flexibility, these displays are perfect for showcasing content in either landscape or portrait mode.

Perfect for tech-focused setups, the PN-ME displays come with a built-in USB-C connection that handles all your audio and visual needs, including DisplayPort Alt Mode and upstream capabilities through an integrated USB Hub. These units are designed with System-On-Chip (SOC) architecture, offering more flexibility for content delivery and featuring a fast integrated browser with gigabit internet speeds.

The MultiSync PN-ME displays come with 32GB of storage (including the operating system) to store content directly on the device. They feature an 18/7 runtime, an advanced media player for scheduling content, and the ability to set up to seven schedules for powering the display on or off and choosing a source for standalone operation. Plus, with an Energy Star 8.0 certification, these displays are perfect for businesses that prioritize reducing their environmental impact.

The Sharp MExx2 series comes in 43-, 50-, 55-, 65-, 75-, 86-, 98-inch Class sizes, featuring 400 - 450 cd/m2 panels designed to stand out in nearly any setting. The larger Class models are set to launch in early spring. This new lineup introduces high haze, anti-reflective panels, a significant upgrade from the previous generation, reducing glare and maintaining visibility even under bright light. The displays support both landscape and portrait orientations, are slimmer and lighter than before, and still include a durable metal chassis ideal for commercial use.

Additional features and functions include:

  • Android™ 13 based operating system on quad-core SOC with 32GB storage and 4GB memory
  • Integrated and fully schedulable media player via USB or onboard storage
  • Integrated ambient light sensor allows for the display to automatically change brightness dependent on the lux in the room
  • Center IR Receiver allows displays to be integrated into kiosks without needing to extend the IR signal for remote control use
  • Support of both NEC and Sharp protocols in order to allow for easy replacement for either product currently connected into control systems
  • Full Input Detect functionality allows for failover and input prioritization capabilities
  • Integrated 10W x 2 speakers and both digital and analog audio out options
  • Key and IR lock options
  • 1GB LAN for IP control, internet browser, HTTP Server and OTA use
  • HDMI x3 and USB-C with DP-Alt mode support for AV connectivity
  • 3-year limited commercial warranty along with best-in-class service and support
