Product Overview
The SMART Audio Speakers SBA-100 is a matched pair of 14 W RMS powered speakers designed for use with SMART Board interactive displays that have front control panels. The white speaker pair mounts to the wall alongside the display using the included brackets, providing audio reinforcement suitable for rooms up to 1,000 sq. ft. with up to 30 occupants. Connection is via dual RCA receptacles from the interactive display, with the left speaker powered by a Molex cable from the active right speaker. A universal switching power supply (100–240 V AC) is included.
Product Description
SMART Board interactive displays intended for front-projection systems typically do not include built-in speakers, requiring a separate audio solution for video playback, multimedia lessons, and software audio. The SBA-100 fills this role as SMART's purpose-designed speaker pair for M600 and M700 series interactive whiteboard systems with front-mounted control panels. The white color matches the frame of SMART Board M-series whiteboards for a cohesive installation appearance. The wall-mounting brackets allow the speakers to be positioned flanking the interactive whiteboard at the appropriate height for even room coverage. Audio frequency response is 50 Hz to 20 kHz (±6 dB), covering the full range needed for speech reinforcement, video audio, and multimedia playback without a subwoofer in standard room sizes. The right speaker is the active (amplified) unit; the left speaker connects via the included 16 AWG Molex cable, which has sufficient slack to route discretely behind the board or along the floor. Dual RCA input jacks on the bottom of the right speaker connect to the display's audio output. Power is supplied via a barrel connector from the included switching power supply. The SBA-100 is rated for operating temperatures of 41°F to 95°F with up to 80% humidity — the standard commercial indoor range.
